Cloudiro respects privacy and is committed to maintain the confidentiality of personal data we collect and protect privacy of our customers. This policy describes how information is collected from you, what information about you is collected and what we do with the information. This allows you to decide if you would like to provide information to us.
Cloudiro Pte Ltd (herein referred to as "Cloudiro") collects and stores personal information, including the full name, company name (if applicable), billing address, credit card number and expiration date, email address, and source IP address for all customers. In some cases, photographic proof of identity and credit card credentials may be required prior to customer account activation. Inquiries regarding the collection and use of personal information may be made via email to privacy@cloudiro.com.
Customer information is stored in electronic databases. Cloudiro employs industry-standard technical safeguards, including but not limited to encryption of credit card information, password and/or cryptographic key-based authentication controls on servers which store personal information, browser-based SSL encryption, and other storage system access control mechanisms to protect the integrity of internal databases and prevent unauthorized access. Customer information is only stored for the purposes for which it was initially collected. In the case of amendment to this privacy policy, customers will be notified and also has the option to accept or reject the provisions in this policy.
Cloudiro transfers personal information to third parties under the following normal business procedures:
Customers have access to his/ her own account-specific personal information via Cloudiro's web-based interface for account management. Customers may update their information at any point of time. Customers who cancel their account may request that their personal information be deleted from Cloudiro's databases, with the exception of the following scenarios:
Anonymous usage information on visitors to our site through use of Google Analytics is collected. This service may employ third party tracking cookies to gather anonymous browser, operating system, geographic, and web site navigation information. Usage of our Cloudiro Manager interface requires the acceptance of cookies for login session management purposes.
Customers bear sole responsibility for maintaining the security of virtual private server (VPS) environments maintained under their accounts. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable privacy guidelines and regulations for all jurisdictions in which they may operate with respect to appropriate practices for the collection, storage, and dissemination of personal information using their Cloudiro VPS. Cloudiro will not be held liable for Customer's failure to adopt and/or practice appropriate measures for safeguarding personal information stored within or transmitted through their Cloudiro VPS.
Customers possess the right to opt out of any use of their personal information which is inconsistent with or beyond the scope of the purposes for which it was initially collected. In the event that, at Cloudiro's discretion, service cannot be continued without customer acceptance of such modifications to the ways in which personal information is collected, customers who wish to opt out of such collection or usage of their personal information will be notified and offered a pro-rated refund of any positive balance on their account with Cloudiro.
Cloudiro complies with the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework and the U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries and Switzerland. Cloudiro has certified that it adheres to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access, and enforcement.
